Hire Rules
Welcome to our easy-to-navigate Hire Rules for Party Hire — including Soft Play, Inflatables and Bouncy Castle equipment. These terms are here to help your party run smoothly and ensure our gear is returned in the same clean, safe condition we provided it. We operate across Bury St Edmunds and Suffolk, and these rules apply to all hires in those areas. 🎉
Summary — What we expect from you
- Return equipment in the same condition it was hired in — clean and undamaged. ✅
- Soft Play and inflatables do not need to be reassembled exactly as originally set up, but items should be left on the matting and organised. For example: balls back in the ball pool and ride-ons in the main hall/venue (not in the toilets!).
- No food or drinks on the matting or equipment — we know an occasional biscuit happens, but please try to keep all food and drinks off the play surfaces. 🍪
- NO FACEPAINT/BODY PAINT under any circumstances. Even water-based paints can stain soft play leather and damage the appearance and quality of our Soft Play and Inflatables. ❌🎨
Rules for Safe Use
- Only use equipment for its intended purpose — no climbing on the sides or outside of inflatables.
- Always supervise children while using Soft Play, Bouncy Castle or other inflatables. An adult should be present at all times. 👀
- Remove shoes before entering Soft Play and Bouncy Castle surfaces to prevent damage and keep the matting clean. This is for both children and adults. Shoes with points such as high heels WILL puncture the soft play matting.
- Keep sharp objects and toys off all equipment to avoid tears or punctures.
Cleaning & Return Expectations
We appreciate your help keeping our equipment in great condition. When the hire period ends:
- Replace soft play on the matting — no need to disassemble. We’ll handle packing away. 🧰
- Return loose items to their original areas: balls in the ball pool, ride-ons in the main hall/venue.
- Please check the inflatables are clear of any debrey such as popped balloons/grass if hired outside and leave inflated unless instructed otherwise.
- If an accidental spill occurs, do your best to blot and dry the area and let us know so we can treat it properly. Prompt reporting helps prevent stains from setting.
Damage, Stains & Liability
Minor wear is expected, but stains (especially from face or body paint), deliberate damage, or failure to follow rules may result in additional cleaning or repair charges. We’ll always explain any charges and provide photos where relevant. 💬
What to Expect from Us
- Clean, safe Soft Play, Bouncy Castle and Inflatable equipment delivered on time.
- Clear setup and safety guidance at delivery.
- We’ll collect and pack away the equipment unless other arrangements are agreed.

You must adhere to the rules of hire when using our inflatables, both from a safety perspective and also hygiene.
